Hey, That's My House!

The Learning Channel's While You Were Out episode running right now is rehabbing a fire station in Kirkwood, MO. Take that Webster Groves!

DOWNDATE: Chris of neighboring, decrepit Webster Groves seems jealous. But, why is it that all but one of the MWBB's have been held at the TNG's in Kirkwood after the inaugural bash at TNG's in Webster Groves?

Interesting program; wish I had cable so I could have seen it. Of all the countless buildings in Mordor, I'm sorry, I meant to type Kirkwood there, that desperately need renovation, I wonder why TLC picked that one. Just doin' my bit for the single greatest rivalry in United States high school sports.

Which fire house? The one like a castle on Big Bend, the one at Essex and Dougherty Ferry, or the one on Argonne?

When I was a kid, my uncle was an alderman and we got to ride the new firetruck from the firehouse on Argonne out through Greenbriar and back. With the sirens running. It's been down hill since.

Decrepit, Gracie? Twarn't our firehouse TLC was fixing up. As for the MWBB's, true. Webster's just not as good at drinking as Kirkwood is. Speaking of which, I really have check out Llewelyn's in Webster one of these days...
