Two paragraphs of snark, and that's all this blog has become, are no substitute for thoughtful, informed, reasoned discourse. I've forgotten why I started blogging but I'm sure it wasn't to end up where I am now. Call it a mid-blog crisis if you will, but it is time to step back, assess where I am and where I want to be, and retool.
Now, if you'll excuse me...
You can't fool me. The real reason is you need to spend the time preparing your strategy for the upcoming fantasy football season. But on the bright side, it should be pretty easy to improve on last season.
Cheers!

Posted by: Scott Chaffin at 07:20 PMCan I call it one in a series of mid-blog crises if I want? I'll be waiting when you get back.
Posted by: Kevin Murphy at 10:30 AMJon - Last time I checked, I'd still won two of the last three IFFFL Fantasy Bowls. Only the league's potential manipulation of the draft lottery can inhibit my climb back to the top.
Scott - True, but recently my father-in-law chided me on the, for lack of a better word, mean-spirited nature of the blog. All in all, I'd have to say he's right. The stupidity and ignorance out there remains as dense as ever, but I don't think anything I'm writing here is going to change that.
Kevin - Given that my mid-life crisis is entering it's eleventh year, I think my mid-blog crisis is still in its infancy.
