Unless it embarrasses a Republican: N.Y. Gov.: Illegal to Publish Phone Tapes
Just ask Newt Gingrich.
It's illegal to publish illegally taped phone conversations here in the Philippines also, but we have free enterprise...so the tape of Gloria's conversation discussing stuffing the ballot boxes in Mindinao became a best seller for the peddlers and kiosks (it was sold right next to the illegal cd's of hit music and movies).
The bad news is that the tape couldn't be used to impeach her...
The good news is that the one who released the tape has somehow gotten papers approved (by his friend) and managed to leave the country despite being under arrest.
So maybe Howard Dean could learn tricks from Gloria...
