Kids Favor John Kerry, Fox News in Myers/Neopets.com Political Poll

Big deal. We've known for a long time that adults who think like children favor Kerry so why should we be surprised that children who think like, well, children are going to favor Kerry? And just in case you were thinking of taking this seriously anyway, my 8 year-old daughter -- who reads beyond a 4th grade level, which seems to exceed the reading level of most pro-Kerry trolls -- has an on-line Neopet, but I wouldn't think of asking her who she would vote for. I mean, I can buy her vote for a piece of candy, which, when you think about it, explains the thinking of far too many Democratic voters these days.

Of course kids favor Kerry, they got to school, where the NEA teaches them about the usurper in the White House and how Kerry will save the day.

They're not allowed to think otherwise....would YOU wanna get left back in kindergarten?

When I was in... third grade, I think, (it was 1970 or whenever Nixon was running against McGovern, I'm too tired to figure it out -- but I was a year younger than everyone else in my class because my parents taught me to read when I was four years old) we had a pretend presidential election, all part of an effort to teach us sproglings all about democracy and all that. I voted for Nixon.

I attended Santa Cruz High School, graduating in 1989, the kids there were all full-out liberals, demanding the 'right' to vote pre-18. The teachers, of course, were right behind them, realizing that their program was working and the kids were pot-smoking carbon copies (dittos back then) of themselves. *Children* should nor more be allowed to vote than they should be allowed to have sex, drink or drive cars... of course the libs want to give them all that too.

Andrea told my story. When I was in third grade, which was 1980, we had a pretend election, but I voted for Carter. Carter!! Jeez.
